Restricted Archive started from a lifelong fascination with the strange and unexplained. I’ve always been drawn to the paranormal, the occult, true crime, and folklore. Alongside a probably unhealthy amount of horror films from a young age, I was bound to end up creating something like this eventually.

What began as late-night rabbit holes and an obsession with unsettling stories slowly turned into this project, a collection of all the things I’ve always been interested in. Some stories are well known, while others are half-forgotten fragments buried in old forums, newspaper archives, or passed between people who swear something happened to them.

Alongside the articles here, Restricted Archive also exists as a documentary-style podcast and video project, focused on slow-burn storytelling, atmosphere, and immersive narratives. The goal has always been to create content that feels personal, unsettling, and genuinely interesting.
